Camarines Sur: Experience it All!

If you are into religious activities such as the Visita Iglesia, Naga City in Camarines Sur might be familiar to you. The Bicol Region is normally associated with religious pilgrimage sites where people stop over for a tour of different churches or to witness religious festivities. But if you are on the other side of the coin where adventure for you is something to go for, Camarines Sur can also be your next top destination. Here is a peek of some fun and exciting activities you can enjoy while in the place.

Island hopping around Caramoan Islands: Caramoan is best known to be a filming location of the famous reality show “Survivor”. This place is a rugged getaway sited in the lower eastern part of Camarines Sur, surrounded by waters and is a home to secluded beaches and coves, stunning islands, white sand and pebble beaches

Wakeboarding at CamSur Water Park: One of the things that helped the province made known was the CamSur Water sports Complex solely designed for wakeboarding, wake skating, and waterskiing. Additionally, the place has also been a venue to numerous international wakeboarding events and facilities like swimming pools, massage huts, and restaurants are also offered.

Canyoneering and Rappelling: Although canyoneering is already known in Cebu, Camarines Sur also offers the best experience when it comes to this. Additionally, waterfall rappelling is also offered where everyone gets to descend to the surface of the waterfall through a long and strong rope and harnesses.

Chase Waterfalls: Scaling down the waterfalls might sound to extreme and harsh for many, but that doesn’t mean the adventure stops there. You can still enjoy hiking and swimming in the waterfalls in the town of Curry in Pili.

Hike or Bike Mountain Trails: Mount Isarog is the ideal destination for this activity having its elevation to be 1,996 meters above sea level. The trails are uniquely offering biking experiences while enjoying a mesmerizing view.

Soak in the Hot Springs: At the bottom of Mt. Isarog’s river is a hot spring resort that has several natural pools with 20 – 39 degrees Celsius. This is a good choice for rainy days, but pool waters are just too cold to swim.
